Life for the Christian
68
One of the favorite activities of the Christian is to attempt to decode the Book of Revelation by the Apostle John. In that Book, is the Truth about how the Christian is to lead their life. The Feast of Trumpets is about to begin, again. It is imperative for the Christian to Understand what this Biblical Celebration means to the Christian. Observance of this God Ordained Feast is imperative to the Spiritual Life of the Christian.
In Revelation 20, John writes of the Feast of Trumpets by referencing the Book of Life. “Then I saw a Great White Throne and Him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from His Presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the Throne, and Books were opened. Another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were Judged according to what they had done as recorded in the Books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was Judged according to what he had done.” This is referring to the Judgement of God of the “dead in Christ” associated with the so-called Rapture. This event occurred in 1998. It was a Judgement Decision to Judge the “dead in Christ” in that year. This Decision came down from Heaven on the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur of the preceding fall. In March of 1998, the Trumpets blew and the “dead in Christ” was taken up to Heaven for the Judgement of the dead.
Revelation 20 goes on to say, “If anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” The “dead in Christ” who were found in the Book of Life were returned to the earth to walk among you and do the Work of God on earth for the sake of the Church that Yeshua initiated upon His Resurrection from the dead. Those not found in the Book were sent to their Eternal resting place.
Later on in Revelation 20, John writes of the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem is a Spiritual city. The New Jerusalem is not the physical Jerusalem of our day. It is a city associated with Christianity. The Spiritual Church of Yeshua lives in the New Jerusalem. This city does not exist on a physical level, at this time. It will, however, "come down from Heaven. It will manifest itself in the physical realm at some moment. Things in Prophecy from the True Prophet do not occur in the order Given. Regardless, do not be fooled into thinking that each and every aspect of the Prophecy will not occur. God is in the details and it will ALL come to pass. Time is irrelevant when God is in the Picture.
The next reference to the Book of Life states that the New Jerusalem will not have anything impure within its walls or ever enter it. Those whose names are written in the Book of Life will live there. “Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”
In the last chapter of Revelation John gives us the Warnings. “And if anyone takes Words away from this Book of Prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the Tree of Life and in the Holy City, which are described in this Book.” In other words, the person tampering with the Words in Revelation will lose their Spirituality and their investment in Heaven.
This year, Rosh Hashanah begins the evening of September 17th, 2009. The Judgement of God is not an isolated event. Every year He Judges His people, then gives them a 10 day period of time to repent before final Judgement comes down from Heaven as to whether that person will live. This has been going on for time immemorial. It is not something new. It is something left out at the convenience of men, for it is men who are given the Gift of Ministry in the Church Yeshua initiated at the time of His Resurrection from the dead. No one can change the Decision of God. No doctor, no witch doctor, no family practioner can extend a life past the date that God has Declared for that individual. No person can take the life of one whom God has Ordained will live. If the Decision that comes on Yom Kippur is against the person’s life, that person will pass over in the year beginning with that Yom Kippur. If the Judgement Decision is one in favor of Life for that person, the person will live.
